With her gleaming silver coat Hellofastorm is a standout.

Nicknamed Sparkles, she is a headstrong mare and difficult to train, but her ability makes it worthwhile.

After just six starts, the four-year-old has won twice, both times at Geelong, her latest victory on Thursday as part of a winning double for the stable which was earlier successful with Cat Noir.

Her loud and excited group of owners were in full voice when jockey Jye McNeil led all the way on her in the bet365 Hcp (1330m) and while she is clearly popular with her owners, she is also an unexpected video star.

A replay of her January maiden win on YouTube has had a record 3096 views on the Emsley Lodge channel.

It is by far the most watched video on the channel with around five times more views than normal.

Jamie is puzzled by the interest, particularly as it quickly hit 2000 views.

“She is easily the most watched horse on our channel so hopefully she can give her followers plenty to watch with more wins in the future,” Jamie said.

Jamie and son James led Hellofastorm around the parade ring before the race and even then, she proved testy, underlining her fitness with a pig-rooting display.

“She wanted to carry on a bit and she took that into the race with plenty of fight in the finish,” James said.

Hellofastorm ($5.50) settled two lengths in front and was able to quicken of a solid pace in the home straight.

Odds-on favourite Floozie ($1.85) made a race of it, finishing strongly on the rails but was no match for Hellofastorm who scored by a long neck.

Hellofastorm is bred to stay being a daughter of Puissance de Lune and Young Doctor making her a half-sister to the well performed stayer Young Hostess, who won 10 races, half of them with Emsley Lodge, and $340,000 in prizemoney.

“She’s only lightly raced and has it all before her so it will be interesting to see how far she can get,” Jamie said.
