A heartbroken mum pleads for return of her sick son's wheelchair
A Geelong mum's broken down while talking about the theft and destruction of her sick son's one-of-a-kind yellow wheelchair.9-year-old BRYCE MCKEIRNAN has Kabooki Syndrome, which has left him with a number of congenital problems including heart and lung disease.
The $7500 chair was accidentally left out the front of Rollins Primary last Friday and BRYCE's mum STACEY's told K-Rock they've done everything they can think of to try and get it back.STACEY says Bryce's mobility is severely restricted without his chair, but she fears it's been destroyed after parts of it were found at a park in Norlane.
Here are some comments posted from Bryces' family and Bay FM listeners in response to Peter and Christine from Emsley Lodge @ Freshwater Creek amazing and generous offer to purchase a new wheel chair for Bryce.
